Former Yanga coach Mwinyi Zahera said the team of upcoming season, is the best in the last three seasons
Zahera who was Yanga's coach for the 2018/19 season, was one of the guests invited to the Mwananchi week at Benjamin Mkapa Stadium yesterday
Yanga's leadership honored Zahera by inviting him to the Festival in recognition of his contribution and enthusiasm while coaching Yanga
Mwananchi Week was launched as part of supporting his efforts by involving Yanga fans to contribute to their team during the difficult economic times
"Yanga have signed the best players and I think they have the best team in the last three seasons.
"A player like Yannick Bangala has played for the DR Congo national team which has the most players playing in Europe. Getting a chance to be called up and playing for Congo is not easy"
Some of the most experienced players registered in the Yanga squad include goalkeeper Djigui Diarra, Yannick Bangala, Heritier Makambo, Shabani Djuma, Fiston Mayele, Khalid Aucho and Jesus Moloko
