GSM Companies President Ghalib Said Mohammed joined other football stakeholders in the country to assist Polisi Tanzania player Gerrard Mdamu who broke both legs in an accident at the end of last season
Ghalib donated Tsh 6 Million, money which was presented on his behalf by Yanga Spokesperson Haji Manara
In addition, Manara also donated his last salary paid to him by Simba (Tsh 700,000 / -) and thus submitted Tsh 6.7 Million
In an interview with Wasafi Fm earlier today, Manara described Ghalib as a man of heart who is willing to help others without showing himself
"Ghalib is a man of the people and as others have come forward to donate to Gerald Mathias Mdamu who is a player of the Polisi Tanzania and he has also been touched contributing Tsh 6 million where we will hand over"
"I also give my last salary which is seven hundred thousand shillings to support the treatment of this young man. Yanga we promise to be shoulder to shoulder to ensure Mdamu's dreams does not die, we will continue to hold his hand and ask others to contribute , "said Manara
