The inauguration of Citizens' Week is taking place in Zanzibar today where in addition to the historic event, there was a prayer for the founder of Zanzibar, the first President of the Revolutionary Government the late Abeid Amani Karume
The late Karume has a long history with the Yanga club, since its establishement in 1935
Yanga Club Headquarters Building at Jangwani in Dar es Salaam, Karume funded its construction
