Yanga has filed a lawsuit with the International Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) challenging what Simba did in signing Bernard Morrison and later being approved by the TFF Committee
Judgment of the case will be read by CAS before August 24 2021
Similar tactics sought to be repeated in the registration of Yusufu Mhilu who was recently introduced by Simba while under contract with Kagera Sugar
According to a sports analyst Ali Kamw e , Kagera Sugar have not issued a 'Release Letter' for Mhilu to be registered with Simba for the Champions League. So Mhilu may not be part of Simba squad that will play the tournament
It is alleged that in the initial talks, Simba contacted Kagera Sugar , submitted an offer of 35 Mil but Kagera turned it down asking for 50 Mil
As the talks continued, Simba introduced Mhilu, an act that offended Kagera who felt 'despised'
Later one of Simba leaders apologized to Kagera that the introduction was made incorrectly by a member of the Information Department, so they asked them not to deny anything while the conversation was going on
But Kagera was shocked after being called by the TFF to be prosecuted by Mhilu for wanting to break the contract and after the case was heard by Kagera to be found to be fair and Mhilu should follow the club's best procedures to break the contract
Kagera leadership is now planning to sue Simba for signing their player without agreement demanding TSH MIL 200 to allow him
This incident is very similar to the saga of Morrison who also sued Yanga claiming that he has no contract with them
As the case progressed Simba introduced Morrison as their legitimate player
