Coach Jackson Mayanja, a Ugandan who once worked with Simba, KMC, Coastal Union and Kagera Sugar, praised the signing of midfielder Khalid Aucho, believing he will help Yanga in the Champions League and Premier League of Tanzania Mainland. p>
Mayanja, who has also been the captain of the Uganda Cranes, said he knew Aucho, a Ugandan national team player
"He is a good player. He is experienced and strong too, Yanga has found a good player and he plays for the Uganda National team.
"I think a lot of people especially Tanzanians saw him at the last AFCON, "said Mayanja.
Mayanja added his presence in the Yanga squad will also be a benefit to their national team, as the challenges he will face, will make him better and more supportive of their country.
"For us Ugandans we are relieved because Lwanga is in Simba and now Aucho will be Yanga. >
Aucho landed in the country to complete his registration with Yanga earlier this week where yesterday he left to Uganda to complete his personal affairs before heading to camp with the Yanga squad in Morocco
