Yanga attacking midfielder Mapinduzi Balama has not been seen in the squad for about a year after suffering injuries at the end of the 2019/20 season
For several weeks Balama has continued to do a special exercise program to ensure he returns to the field without injury
Wananchi should expect to see him at the Kagame Championship which is expected to start next week in Dar es Salaam
Yanga have confirmed they will take part in the tournament and will no doubt use some new players and those who are in the plans of coach Nasreddine Nabi but did not get enough time to appear this season
In the tournament also some of the stars of the U20 youth squad may be used
