The Confederation of East African Football Associations (CECAFA) has confirmed that the Kagame Cup will be held in Dar es Salaam from 1/8/2021 to 15/8/2021
Yanga is among the teams that have confirmed their participation in the tournament which will help them prepare for the upcoming Mainland Premier League season as well as the African Champions League.
CECAFA has named other teams that have confirmed their participation include Azam Fc (Tanzania), Altabara (South Sudan), Ngozi (Burundi), APR (Rwanda) and Tusker Fc (Kenya)
Others are Express, KCCA (Uganda), KMKM (Zanzibar) and Big Bullets (Malawi)
