Despite of securing a place in the CAF Championship next season, Yanga have insisted that they will make sure they win the Azam Confederation Cup (ASFC) final against Simba which will be played on Sunday, July 25 at Lake Tanganyika Stadium,
Yanga arrived in Kigoma earlier today to complete their final preparations before facing their arc-rivals Simba in a game that the winner will be crown the Trophy
Yanga Motivational Officer, Antonio Nugaz said the team is well prepared and they are in Kigoma for just one job, to win the FA Cup
Nugaz said they need a win against their rivals to book a place in the CAF tournament by their own capacity
"We are fully prepared and have come to Kigoma for just one job, to beat the Simba and become FA champions. We want to go to International Competition with our own capacity, let's meet at Lake Tangayika on Sunday" said Nugaz
Meanwhile, Yanga's goal scorer in the league match played on July 03, Zawadi Mauya said they have made enough preparations and are ready to make their fans happy in the game
"We players are well prepared, I tell the fans to expect great things from us as we are ready to win," said Mauya
Yanga landed in Kigoma with a convoy of 20 players, a technical bench and senior officials led by Chairman Dr Mshindo Msolla, Acting Secretary General Haji Mfikira and Vice Chairman of the Competition Committee Engineer Hersi Said
