Makambo was signed by Horoya Ac in 2019 on a three-year contract from Yanga
The Congolese star said he was forced to break his contract after the arrival of a new coach who did not give him a chance to play in the first team
"Life was just fine at Horoya but as soon as the coach was replaced and a new coach came, the problem started, he did;nt give me enough time to play. Due to my quality, It was really hurting"
"So I decided to terminate my Contract by mutual agreement. My reason for leaving is not because I got another team but looking for new opportunity somewhere else. To me, respect is important than money," Makambo said in an interview with < em> SportExtra
Speaking about rumors of being wanted by Yanga, Makambo said he is currently a free agent and will not be reluctant to join his former employers as he enjoyed his football career while at Yanga
"I have a lot of offers but I can't name the teams that have followed me, Tanzania is my second country because I lived there very comfortably"
"Yanga is my team I love it and if they need my services then I will go and I will fight in every way I can do better than before," said Makambo
