Everton midfielder Jack Grealish has reportedly spent two consecutive nights enjoying himself at entertainment venues, just days before being left out of the club’s squad over a disciplinary issue.
According to The Sun, the 31-year-old, who is reportedly earning £300,000 per week, was spotted enjoying nights out on October 19 and 20.
On the first night, Grealish attended the Pride of Britain Awards in London before heading to a karaoke venue, where he reportedly stayed until the early hours of the morning.
The following day, he returned to the North West and attended Everton training. However, that evening, he went out again to The Mucky Pup pub in Wilmslow.
During the outing, he was reportedly accompanied by Everton teammates Jordan Pickford and Tyler Dibling, as well as Kyle Walker, his former Manchester City teammate. The group watched the PSG vs Barcelona match in a private room while enjoying their evening.
A few days later, Grealish was absent from Everton’s squad for their Carabao Cup victory over Newcastle, raising questions about the reason behind his omission.
When asked about the decision, Everton manager David Moyes said: “The club made that decision and I support it.”
However, The Sun has reported details surrounding the two nights out, while the club has indicated that Grealish’s omission was related to a disciplinary matter.
