NIGERIA WILL BE A TOUGH TEST
Taifa Stars face a major test against Nigeria, one of the most established teams in African football, known for having numerous players competing in some of the world's most competitive leagues.
The two matches will provide an important assessment for Gamondi's technical bench, offering an opportunity to evaluate the squad's quality and the strength of its defence, midfield and attack.
For Tanzania, supporters will be hoping to see the team perform well and put up a strong challenge against Nigeria's Super Eagles.
AFCON 2027
The 2027 AFCON finals will be jointly hosted by three East African countries: Tanzania, Kenya and Uganda.
As Tanzania is one of the tournament's host nations, Taifa Stars already have a place at the finals, while the qualifying matches form part of the tournament's wider campaign schedule.
