Yanga SC are reportedly pursuing former Pyramids FC coach Krunoslav Jurčić following their parting of ways with head coach Manqoba Mngqithi.
The Croatian coach is said to be among the names being considered by the club’s leadership as they look to strengthen the technical bench and improve their competitiveness in international competitions.
According to reports, Yanga have begun searching for a coach to fill the vacant position, with Jurčić emerging as one of the candidates under consideration.
Jurčić is an experienced coach with a strong background in competitive football, particularly in African club competitions. His experience at Pyramids FC has contributed to his being linked with clubs seeking to build teams capable of competing at the international level.
Jurčić established his reputation through his work with Pyramids FC, the Egyptian club that has pursued success in both domestic and international competitions.
During his spell with the team, he helped strengthen Pyramids’ position in African football, guiding the club to five trophies, including the CAF Champions League (CAFCL) title.
Alongside Jurčić, Yanga are also reportedly holding talks with former Simba and Raja CA coach Fadlu Davids.
For now, Yanga’s technical bench is led by Simo Dladla, who served as an assistant coach under Mngqithi.
