The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has made changes to the officiating team for the first-leg CAF Champions League match between 15 de Agosto and Simba SC.
Egyptian referee Amin Mohamed Omar has been appointed to take charge of the match, scheduled for Wednesday, after Mauritian referee Ahmad Imtehaz Heeralall reportedly became unable to travel to Dar es Salaam.
Reports indicate that Omar has already departed Cairo, Egypt, and is on his way to Tanzania ahead of the match as he prepares to officiate the encounter.
The change comes as Simba SC continue their preparations for the important CAF competition fixture, with fans eager to see how the team begins its campaign at this stage of the tournament.
