The NBC Mainland Premier League match between TRA United and Yanga SC, originally scheduled for October 13, has been rescheduled to October 24.
The change gives Yanga some breathing room as they focus on their CAF Champions League campaign, where they are battling to qualify for the group stage against Madagascar’s CFFA.
Yanga will begin by hosting CFFA in the first leg on October 17 at Azam Complex before facing the same opponents again in the return leg on October 21 at the same venue.
After completing their continental assignments, the Wananchi will travel to Arusha to face TRA United on October 24, the new date set for the league fixture.
Following that encounter, Yanga will return to Dar es Salaam to take on Mashujaa FC on October 27 as they continue their bid to defend the NBC Premier League title. Yanga currently sit second in the standings behind their traditional rivals Simba, who moved to the top after securing a 2-1 victory in the Kariakoo Derby at Uhuru Stadium two days ago.
