Pep Guardiola has issued a message of support for Manchester City, the club’s leadership, players and supporters following the decision by an independent Premier League commission concerning financial-rule breaches covering a nine-season period.
In his message, Guardiola reaffirmed his support for the club, saying he would continue to stand behind the leadership, players, staff and supporters of Manchester City during this period.
“I want every Manchester City fan around the world to know that I am here, more than ever. I am here, I have always been here, and I will continue to stand behind my club...” Guardiola said, according to the message.
He added: “Let me be clear: we will get through this together. I love you all.”
The message comes as Manchester City continues its legal process against the ruling, with the club rejecting the findings of the commission and announcing its intention to appeal the decision.
