Simba Queens and Yanga Princess are set to meet tomorrow, Wednesday, September 30, 2026, in the semi-final of the 2026 Women’s Community Shield. The match will be played at KMC Complex in Dar es Salaam, with kick-off scheduled for 6:00 p.m. TFF has confirmed that the fixture will form part of the opening of the 2026/27 women’s football season.
The match will see defending Community Shield champions Simba Queens take on their arch-rivals Yanga Princess in one of the fixtures expected to attract significant attention from women’s football fans across the country.
TFF has stated that the winners of the two semi-finals will advance to the final scheduled for October 3, while the losing teams will meet in the third-place playoff on the same day. The other semi-final will feature JKT Queens against Mashujaa, kicking off at 3:00 p.m.
For Simba Queens and Yanga Princess, the match will also serve as part of their preparations for the new season ahead of the start of the Tanzania Women’s Premier League, which TFF has scheduled to begin on October 23, 2026.
