Germany national team head coach Jürgen Klopp has reportedly introduced a set of new and strict rules within the squad, aimed at improving discipline, unity and the overall working environment for the players.
According to BILD, players are required to arrive together and on time for team dinners. The measure is intended to ensure the squad spends more time together and builds stronger communication off the pitch.
Players have also been banned from using mobile phones before matches, with Klopp demanding full concentration and direct communication among the players before they step onto the pitch.
Another rule prohibits players from getting haircuts at the team hotel. Players are expected to take care of such arrangements before joining the national team during international duty.
In addition, family visits for players are expected to be significantly reduced during major tournaments, marking a change from the approach under former head coach Julian Nagelsmann, which allowed greater freedom.
Klopp wants to establish clear standards both on and off the pitch, with all players expected to follow the rules collectively. According to the report, the main objective is to build a disciplined, united and highly focused squad throughout every stage of the competition.
