Dimitar Pantev has officially been confirmed as the new head coach of South African club Richards Bay after reaching an agreement to take charge of the team.
Pantev takes over with the task of helping Richards Bay achieve positive results and improve their form during the current season.
The coach has signed a contract that will keep him at Richards Bay until the end of the season, with an option to extend the agreement for another period if both parties reach an agreement.
Pantev is currently on his way to South Africa alongside his agent, travelling from Botswana. After arriving, he is expected to officially begin his new duties and prepare for Richards Bay’s upcoming fixtures.
The coach has experience working in football across Southern Africa, having previously managed Botswana clubs Jwaneng Galaxy and Gaborone United, before also spending a spell coaching Tanzania’s Simba SC.
