Yanga SC have entered a new phase in the implementation of their development plans after announcing a tender for qualified companies to participate in the construction of a new 12-storey building on Mafia and Nyamwezi Streets in Dar es Salaam.
According to the tender notice issued by the club on August 25, 2026, Yanga invited experienced construction companies with sufficient capacity and expertise to submit bids for the implementation of the project. The deadline for submitting tender documents was September 1, 2026.
The project is said to be part of Yanga’s broader strategy to develop its infrastructure and strengthen the club’s capacity in commercial activities. The Mafia and Nyamwezi Streets area also holds historical significance for Yanga, after the club purchased its building there in 1964.
The construction of the 12-storey building marks another step in Yanga’s plans to strengthen its commercial foundation and infrastructure as the club continues to explore ways of increasing revenue streams beyond football activities alone.
