The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has inspected various facilities and infrastructure in Arusha as part of Tanzania’s preparations for the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON), which Tanzania will co-host alongside Kenya and Uganda.
During the inspection, CAF visited Arusha Stadium, training grounds, as well as key healthcare and medical facilities expected to be part of the preparations for the major continental football tournament.
The inspection highlights the steps being taken by Tanzania to ensure that its infrastructure and essential services meet the standards required by CAF ahead of the tournament in 2027.
Tanzania, together with Kenya and Uganda, continues to make preparations for the historic AFCON 2027, with Arusha expected to be among the key locations involved in the preparation and hosting of the tournament.
