Four match officials from Tanzania have been appointed by the Confederation of African Football (CAF) to officiate a CAF Champions League fixture.
The officials are Nasir Salum, Mohamed Mkono, Ally Ramadhani and Ahmed Arajiga, who have been selected to oversee the first-round encounter between JS Saoura of Algeria and Horoya AC of Guinea.
The match is scheduled to be played on September 4, 2026, at Miloud Hadefi Stadium in Algeria.
The appointment is another recognition of the growing reputation of Tanzanian match officials on the African stage, giving them an opportunity to represent the country in one of the continent’s biggest club competitions.
The four officials are expected to ensure the match is conducted according to CAF regulations while maintaining fairness and professionalism throughout the encounter.
