Liverpool have reached an agreement with Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) to sign France international winger Bradley Barcola, in what is expected to be one of the biggest transfers of the current window.
The 23-year-old had already agreed personal terms with Liverpool and is reportedly keen to leave PSG in search of greater playing opportunities and further development.
Talks between Liverpool and PSG continued after the French club softened its initial demand for a fee of around €170 million, which Liverpool considered too high. The agreement now paves the way for Barcola to move to Anfield.
Last season, Barcola scored 11 goals in 29 Ligue 1 appearances, while he also registered two goals and four assists in 16 Champions League appearances. His arrival is expected to strengthen Liverpool’s attacking options following the departure of Mohamed Salah.
