Yanga SC Head of Information and Communications, Ally Shaban Kamwe, says the decision on whether new signings Aziz Ki and Selemani Mwalimu will feature in today’s match against JKT Tanzania rests with head coach Manqoba Mngqithi.
Kamwe said the decision on the players’ involvement lies with the technical bench, while urging Yanga supporters to focus on backing the team and pushing for all three points.
Yanga will take on JKT Tanzania today at 12:00 p.m. at KMC Complex in their third Tanzania Mainland Premier League match of the 2026/27 season. The defending champions have made a perfect start to the campaign, winning their opening two matches and collecting all six points.
The match against JKT Tanzania presents Yanga with another opportunity to maintain their strong start, with supporters also keen to see whether Mngqithi will hand Aziz Ki and Selemani Mwalimu their competitive debuts.
