The management of Yanga SC has denied reports circulating on social media claiming that the club is in talks to appoint coach Fadlu Davids, stressing that no discussions have taken place regarding the matter.
Speaking through the club's Head of Communications, Ally Kamwe, the club said the reports are false and did not originate from the club's leadership. The management explained that the growing speculation is driven by the public's eagerness to receive updates about the club's plans, giving some individuals an opportunity to spread unverified information.
The club has urged its members and supporters to rely only on official sources for updates, stating that all information regarding player signings, coaching staff changes, and other club matters will be announced through the YANGA App and Yanga SC's official social media platforms.
Furthermore, the club emphasized that any reports about the signing of a coach or player published outside these official channels should be disregarded until the club issues an official statement.
Meanwhile, Yanga has called on its supporters to remain united and focus on the club's upcoming NBC Premier League match, encouraging fans to turn out in large numbers to support the team in its pursuit of this season's league title.
