Young Africans SC head coach Abdihamid Moalin has made his team's intentions clear ahead of their NBC Premier League clash against JKT Tanzania, insisting that Yanga will be going into the match with only one objective: victory.
Speaking to the media today, Moalin said his squad has completed its preparations and is fully ready for the crucial encounter.
"We go into every match with the aim of winning," Moalin said confidently, emphasizing the defending champions' determination to maintain their momentum regardless of the opposition.
Meanwhile, midfielder Emmanuel Mwanengo said the team fully understands the significance of the fixture, noting that any kind of victory would be enough to secure the Premier League title in front of their home supporters.
"We know how important this match is, and we have prepared well. Our goal is to win and lift the league trophy," Mwanengo said.
These remarks come after JKT Tanzania began engaging in psychological warfare on social media by posting the message "Last Dance," signaling their determination to deny Yanga the league title.
However, Yanga have chosen to respond calmly, expressing their confidence through their preparations and the words of their coaching staff and players rather than engaging in a war of words.
All eyes will now be on Maj Gen Isamuhyo Stadium tomorrow at 10:00 p.m. local time, where JKT Tanzania will be aiming to spoil Yanga's title celebrations, while Yanga need just one victory to write another chapter in their history. The final answer will be decided over 90 minutes.
