Yanga head coach Abdihamid Moalin has said that his team is fully prepared for their Tanzania Mainland Premier League match against TRA United, which will be played on June 27, emphasizing that their objective is to secure all three points while showing respect to their opponents.
Speaking at a pre-match press conference, Moalin said the team's preparations have been completed and that the players understand the importance of the fixture in their campaign to defend the league title. He acknowledged that TRA United are a competitive side, meaning Yanga will need to play with discipline and focus to achieve their objective.
Meanwhile, Abuutwalib Msheri said the match against TRA United is crucial in the club's efforts to retain the Tanzania Mainland Premier League title. He also called on Yanga supporters to turn out in large numbers to support the team and motivate the players during this important stage of the season.
Yanga head into the match under pressure to continue collecting points after being eliminated in the CRDB Federation Cup semifinals and losing the Muungano Cup, while the race for the league title remains highly competitive. Every result at this stage of the season could have a significant impact on the league standings.
However, Yanga are expected to face a tough challenge from TRA United, who have also shown strong determination. TRA United captain Nassry Kombo has already stressed that his team will not take the field to serve the ambitions of any other club, but will instead fight for a positive result in the best interests of TRA United.
The match is scheduled to kick off at 10:00 p.m. on June 27, with Yanga aiming to secure three vital points to strengthen their bid for the 2025/26 Tanzania Mainland Premier League title.
