Real Madrid have issued an official statement denying reports circulating in various media outlets claiming that the club has reached an agreement on personal terms with Bayern Munich winger Michael Olisé.
In the statement, the European giants said they have never held any direct or indirect discussions with the player or his representatives regarding a potential transfer.
"In response to reports published by various media outlets regarding an alleged interest in Bayern Munich player Michael Olisé, Real Madrid wishes to make it clear that it has not had any direct or indirect contact with the player or his representatives," part of the statement read.
Real Madrid also emphasized that it maintains a strong and longstanding relationship with Bayern Munich, built on mutual respect, cooperation, and trust between the two European football powerhouses.
The club stated that reports suggesting an agreement with Olisé are false, adding that proper institutional procedures require any discussions concerning a player under contract with another club to begin between the clubs involved.
"Both clubs have maintained a relationship founded on trust and mutual respect. This reflects the shared understanding that any matter involving a player from one club should first be discussed between the two institutions in accordance with principles of institutional integrity and trust," the statement added.
The statement appears to put an end to speculation surrounding Olisé's future, as the talented winger has recently been linked with several major European clubs following his impressive performances.
