Chelsea have unveiled their new kit for next season

Chelsea have officially unveiled their new home kit for the 2026/27 season, a jersey that has attracted the attention of many fans due to its modern design, which blends the club’s heritage with contemporary innovation. Chelsea’s traditional blue color remains dominant in the design, complemented by yellow accents and a polo-style collar reminiscent of the club’s classic kits.

According to the launch details, the Nike-designed jersey aims to connect Chelsea’s history with a new generation of players. The design has received praise for its modern appearance while still preserving the long-standing identity of the West London club.

However, despite the appeal of the new kit, the biggest discussion among fans was not about its design. What caught the attention of many was the absence of two key players, Enzo Fernández and Marc Cucurella, from the official photos and videos used to launch the kit.

In recent years, Enzo and Cucurella have been important figures in many of Chelsea’s commercial campaigns, leading fans to question why they were missing from such an important launch event. Their absence has sparked speculation about their future at the club.

Various reports have continued to link both players with possible departures from Stamford Bridge during the upcoming transfer window. It is reported that Enzo Fernández is open to listening to offers from other clubs, while Marc Cucurella has also been linked with a move as he seeks a new challenge away from Chelsea.

Chelsea’s new head coach, Xabi Alonso, appears to have a firm stance regarding the future of his squad. Since arriving at the club, he has emphasized that he wants to work with players who fully believe in his project and are ready to fight wholeheartedly for Chelsea’s success.

If Enzo and Cucurella were to leave, Chelsea could receive a significant amount of money from their sales. Enzo joined the club for what was then a British record transfer fee, while Cucurella also cost a substantial amount. The proceeds from their departures could give Alonso the opportunity to make new signings based on his needs.

On the other hand, the launch of this new kit seems to mark the beginning of a new era at Chelsea. The club is entering the new season with a new manager, fresh ideas, and renewed expectations of returning to the highest level of competition in English and European football.
