Simba SC have shown their intent to strengthen the squad for both domestic and international competitions next season after completing the signing of talented midfielder Kelvin Nashon from Pamba Jiji FC.
Reports emerging since March 19, 2026 indicate that Nashon (25) has already signed a long-term contract with Simba and is expected to officially join the team at the end of the current season.
Strategic Signing
The acquisition of Kelvin Nashon is seen as part of Simba’s strategy to build a strong squad that blends experience with emerging talent. The midfielder has been one of the key players at Pamba Jiji FC, delivering impressive performances in the 2025/26 Tanzania Mainland Premier League season.
In several league matches, Nashon has demonstrated excellent ball control, precise passing, and the ability to contribute both offensively and defensively. He has also stood out by earning Man of the Match honors in some fixtures, highlighting his quality on the pitch.
Last season, Nashon played for Singida Black Stars before joining Pamba Jiji on loan. Simba’s move to sign him now reflects the club’s strong belief in his abilities and the impact he can bring to the squad.
According to multiple reports, all key transfer procedures, including personal terms, have already been finalized, with only his official arrival at the club remaining.
