Yesterday, Singida BS announced that they had pardoned their goalkeeper Amas Obasogie, who had previously been suspended over allegations of match-fixing.
In a statement released by the club, Singida BS said the decision to reinstate him came after a committee that investigated the allegations found no evidence against the player.
Obasogie has now been returned to the squad just days before Singida BS face Simba in a Premier League match scheduled for March 11 at Airtel Stadium in Singida.
He joins midfielder Khalid Aucho, who was also pardoned by the club after issuing an apology. Aucho had been suspended over allegations of indiscipline.
The two players could be part of the squad that will face Simba in the league match on Wednesday.
