Former Tanzania Premier League Board (TPLB) Chief Executive Officer, Almas Kasongo, has been appointed as the Director of Tanzania’s National Teams.
Kasongo, who was suspended last year, was officially announced in the new role today, Saturday, February 28, 2026, during the Tanzania Football Federation (TFF) General Assembly held in Kahama, Shinyanga.
In other appointments, Baraka Kizuguto has been named Director of Competitions, while Oscar Mirambo will continue serving as Acting Secretary General of TFF.
The 20th TFF General Assembly took place today in Kahama, Shinyanga Region, under the leadership of TFF President Wallace Karia.
