The draw for the Round of 16 of the 2025/26 UEFA Champions League was conducted today, Friday, February 27, 2026, in Nyon, Switzerland, pairing the 16 top clubs in Europe.
The highly anticipated draw revealed the fixtures set to be played in early March, as teams battle for places in the quarter-finals and ultimately the final scheduled for May 30, 2026, in Budapest, Hungary.
In the draw, Paris Saint-Germain will face Chelsea, while Galatasaray have been paired against Liverpool.
One of the most eagerly awaited ties will see Real Madrid take on Manchester City, continuing what has become a modern European rivalry frequently witnessed in the Champions League.
Atalanta have been drawn against Bayern Munich in what promises to be a challenging contest for both sides. Meanwhile, Newcastle United will face Barcelona, Atlético Madrid meet Tottenham Hotspur, Bodø/Glimt take on Sporting CP, and Bayer Leverkusen go up against Arsenal.
The Round of 16 matches will be played over two legs — the first legs scheduled for March 10 and 11, 2026, and the return legs on March 17 and 18, 2026. The winners will advance to the quarter-finals, semi-finals, and ultimately the final to be held on May 30, 2026, at the Puskás Arena in Budapest.
