DR Congo international striker Fiston Mayele, who plays for Egyptian Premier League side Pyramids, has set a new record at the club.
After going nearly four months without scoring, Mayele found the back of the net yesterday as Pyramids secured a 3–1 victory over Ghazl El Mahalla.
The goal marked his 50th for Pyramids since joining the club from Tanzania’s Yanga two seasons ago.
Mayele has now become the all-time leading scorer in the history of Pyramids.
He has scored more than 100 goals overall since his time at Yanga and now with Pyramids.
