The Tanzania Football Federation (TFF) has suspended the use of Liti Stadium in Singida and Sokoine Stadium in Mbeya for league matches after they failed to meet the required football regulations and standards.
In a statement issued by the federation, TFF explained that the infrastructure of the two stadiums does not comply with the requirements outlined in the Club Licensing Regulations.
Following this decision, teams that use the affected venues as their home grounds will be required to find alternative stadiums, as stipulated by the regulations, until the venues are renovated, inspected, and officially reopened by TFF.
Additionally, TFF has reminded all clubs to continue maintaining and improving the infrastructure of their stadiums to ensure they meet the necessary standards.
