Simba today secured a 2–0 victory over Egyptian Premier League side Wadi Degla.
This was Simba’s fourth pre-season friendly, with the team set to conclude their preparations tomorrow.
The goals came in the second half—Elie Mpanzu opened the scoring with a long-range strike before Kibu Denis doubled the lead, finishing off a cross from Jean Charles Ahoua.
In the match, Simba’s head coach Fadlu Davids started with Canmara, Chasambi, Naby Camara, Caraboua, Rushine, Morice, Maema, Ahoua, Mukwala, Kibu, and Mpanzu.
Fadlu’s men dominated the game and could have won by three goals had Steven Mukwala’s strike not been ruled out for offside.
