Simba SC’s Media and Communications Manager, Ahmed Ali, has confirmed that preparations for the new season’s pre-season are ongoing. The club will begin initial preparations locally before traveling abroad for further training.
Ahmed stated that players will return to camp at the end of this month for the initial phase of pre-season activities.
“For the players continuing with us, I believe they’ve already started returning. As for the new signings, we expect them to report by the end of this month for the initial stages of our pre-season preparations,” he said.
“I think we’ll start here in the country before traveling abroad. Later, we’ll announce the destination where the team will set up camp,” Ahmed added.
Initially, Simba had planned to begin pre-season on Friday, July 25, but it appears the start has been postponed by a few days.
The good news is that there is still ample time for preparations, as the league is scheduled to resume in mid-September 2025.
This adjustment has been influenced by the CHAN 2024 tournament, which will take place from August 2 to August 30.
