The Tanzania national football team, ‘Taifa Stars’, has concluded its 10-day training camp in Egypt and returned to Tanzania today.
Before playing their CHAN opening match against Burkina Faso at Benjamin Mkapa Stadium, the team will play three friendly matches at Black Rhino Stadium in Karatu.
Stars will face Senegal, Kenya, and Uganda in the CECAFA mini-tournament organized by the federation to prepare the teams ahead of the CHAN competition.
Tanzania will kick off the tournament on August 2 in the opening match against Burkina Faso, which will be held at Benjamin Mkapa Stadium.
Prior to that match, there will be opening ceremony celebrations for the tournament at Benjamin Mkapa Stadium.
