Yanga Striker Clement Mzize’s Transfer to Zamalek in Doubt Amid Agent Disputes

Yanga SC striker Clement Mzize remains at a crossroads regarding his potential move to Egyptian club Zamalek, despite earlier reports suggesting the deal was finalized.

According to sources close to the player, Yanga had already reached an agreement with Zamalek regarding the transfer. However, a dispute over personal terms between Mzize’s representatives and the Cairo-based club has delayed the move.

Mzize, who was one of the top scorers in the Tanzanian Premier League last season with 14 goals—two behind leader Jean Charles Ahoua of Simba SC—has continued to attract interest from foreign clubs, including South Africa’s Kaizer Chiefs.

However, transfer rumors linking him with Kaizer Chiefs appear to be fading, especially since the club has already started pre-season preparations without him.

If the impasse between Mzize’s camp and Zamalek is not resolved soon, the striker is likely to remain at Yanga for another season. He is still under contract with the club for two more years.
