Simba SC is reported to be in the final stages of completing the signing of JKT Tanzania and national team center-back Wilson Nangu.
The 23-year-old defender is set to join the Msimbazi-based club as per the recommendation of head coach Fadlu Davids, filling the gap left by Hussein Kazi, whose departure was recently confirmed by the club following the expiration of his contract.
Although primarily a central defender, Nangu is also capable of playing in both full-back positions—right and left—making him a versatile option in the backline.
His flexibility allows him to be deployed across the defense, though his strongest position remains at center-back.
Along with Nangu, Simba may also secure the services of JKT Tanzania’s goalkeeper Yacoub Mohammed, as part of their ongoing squad reinforcement efforts.
