Entry Guidelines Announced for Rescheduled Yanga vs Simba Derby on June 25

The League Board, in collaboration with Yanga SC and N-Card, has announced the entry procedures for fans attending the Premier League match between Yanga and Simba, scheduled for Wednesday, June 25, at Benjamin Mkapa Stadium.

The League Board’s Media Officer, Karim Boimanda, stated that a clear process has been put in place to ensure those who purchased tickets for the original March 8 match will be able to attend.

"Those who bought tickets for March 8 and still have them will be able to use them to enter the stadium on Wednesday, June 25. For those who purchased tickets but have lost their cards, a special arrangement (swap) has been made — they will receive assistance at Gate A and Gate B," he said.

Yanga SC’s Media and Communications Manager, Ali Kamwe, said the club recognizes the magnitude and difficulty of the match against Simba and is fully preparing for it.

"Yanga understands the size, difficulty, and importance of Wednesday’s match against Simba. This is like a gift for the fans — a Kariakoo Derby with the thrill of a final," he said.

"Yanga has two advantages: we only need a win or even a draw, while our opponents must win. For our members and fans, this is our match — it will determine our fate this season. We welcome all Yanga fans to come out in full force," Kamwe emphasized.

"If we can fill Benjamin Mkapa Stadium, it would be a huge achievement. We’ve supported our team from the very first match of the season, and now our players need us again for this crucial game where we need a positive result to clinch the title," he added.

However, Kamwe did not disclose when Yanga will return to Dar es Salaam, stating that he had not received information about the squad from club officials — but he assured members and fans that Yanga will be on the pitch this Wednesday to face Simba.
