The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has ordered the second leg of the CAF Confederation Cup (CAF CC) final between Simba and RS Berkane to be played at the New Amaan Complex instead of the Benjamin Mkapa Stadium
The rain challenge is cited as the reason for CAF's decision after an inspection of the Benjamin Mkapa Stadium, especially during the rainy season
Simba has already begun preparations for the game at the Mkapa Stadium, where ticket sales have already begun
Efforts are ongoing by the Simba leadership and the Government, who are the owners of the Mkapa Stadium, to persuade CAF to play the game at Mkapa
There have been significant improvements since it was closed after the game against Al Masry and CAF itself has satisfied itself that it can be used
