Yesterday, another big name from Tanzania Mainland, Azam Fc, bowed out of the Union League championship, accepting a 2-1 defeat from JKU in the semi-final match.
The defeat has forced three teams from Tanzania Mainland, Singida BS, Coastal Union and Azam Fc, to bow out of the tournament held in Gombani, Pemba.
Yanga is the only team remaining from the Mainland and today will go to the Gombani stadium to face Zimamoto in the second semi-final match to be played at 7:15 pm.
JKU, which eliminated Singida BS and Azam Fc, has already advanced to the finals, awaiting the winner of today's match to advance to the final match.
