It is official that the international sports equipment manufacturer Diadora will be the one to manufacture the Simba club jerseys after entering into a partnership with the Jayrutty company
Speaking at the Diadora SADC headquarters in South Africa, Jayrutty CEO, Joseph Rwegasira said today that they have fulfilled one of the promises they made to take Simba to the skies of Africa
Diadora has worked to manufacture sports equipment for major clubs in Europe including AS Roma
"When we announced we were entering into this agreement and manufacturing Simba equipment starting next season, I promised. Given the size of Simba, it is time to go international and today we are at the Diadora SADC headquarters and for the first time we are going to announce a joint partnership between Simba, Jayrutty and Diadora," he said
And the CEO of Diadora South Africa Mr. Yusuf Vadi said it was a pleasure for them to work with Simba club promising to produce the best jerseys
"We are happy to have this opportunity to be part of the sponsorship of one of the biggest clubs in Africa and we promise to go and produce quality products as it was for the teams we have worn for a long time including AS Roma of Italy," he said
Speaking on behalf of Simba, Acting Chief Executive Officer Zubeda Sakuru said the partnership demonstrates Simba's goals to become a great club in Africa
"This partnership between Simba, Jayrutty and Diadora shows how much Simba club desires to achieve its goals of becoming the best team in Africa," he said
