Tabora United has reached an agreement to part ways with the head coach, Anicet Kiazayidi, with his replacement being Zimbabwean Genesis Mangombe
The reasons for the termination of the contract of the DR Congo coach who recently returned to his country for a refresher course are unknown
A reliable source from within Tabora United has revealed that the team's leadership and the coach have reached a mutual agreement to terminate the contract
"I cannot discuss the reasons for parting ways with the previous coach who has helped our team to be in a good position in the standings so far, all I can say is that it is a mutual agreement"
"Even the one we brought in is a good coach, so we believe he will help us achieve our goals for this season as we desire to finish high in the Premier League standings," said the source
When contacted, Coach Kiazayidi said he had reached this decision by mutual agreement, while he hesitated to explain in detail the reasons that made him leave the team
For Tabora United's Chief Executive Officer, Charles Obiny, he said that there are ongoing administrative procedures regarding this and when they are completed they will make it clear, so that fans and stakeholders of the team continue to support them in the upcoming games
Tabora United took Kiazayidi in November 2024 to replace Kenyan Francis Kimanzi who was removed after the team had a bad performance in the Mainland Premier League this season
