The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has temporarily closed the Benjamin Mkapa Stadium due to the deteriorating pitch
According to a statement issued by the TFF, the stadium needs to undergo urgent improvements to avoid a long-term closure
The CAF Confederation Cup (CAF CC) quarter-final match between Simba and Al Masry is scheduled to be played on April 9 at the stadium
However, CAF has instructed the TFF to send an alternative stadium that Simba can use in the game if the Mkapa stadium is not ready
