The former coach of Yanga, Hans Pluijm has said that landing in the Premier League with the names of international stars including Jonathan Sowah and Serge Pokou in the Singida Black Stars team will strengthen the team.
Pluijm said he has been following the Premier League and I believe that within the next two or three seasons, Singida Black Stars could be one of the threat teams due to the investment they are making.
Pluijm who once coached Singida United before landing at Azam FC, said Singida has shown determination to make big signings since the beginning of the season and among the names that shocked him were Sowah and Pokou.
Despite having Elvis Rupia who is the top scorer in the Premier League, Singida BS added Sowah (pictured) in the last window who is one of the dangerous attackers from Al-Nasr of Libya who was also being spit on by Yanga.
"It's nice to see other teams emerge and show that they can compete, the main thing is to continue to believe in their plans, in fact the quality of the players I have seen is great"

The coach previously explained that he took the time to watch Singida to see what they did in the games at the beginning of the season but they have proven that they can fight for the top positions.
Currently Singida is in fourth place in the Premier League standings with 33 points through 16 games, two points less than Azam who is in third place with 36 and six less than those of Yanga with 39, while Simba is leading with 40 points
