National teams to participate in Mapinduzi Cup

For the first time, the 2024/25 Mapinduzi Cup is expected to involve national teams instead of clubs as was done in previous years

The annual championship is expected to start on January 03 and end on January 10, 2025 in the islands of Zanzibar

Zanzibar Heroes and Kilimanjaro Stars will participate while Kenya, Uganda, Burundi and Burkina Faso also confirm their participation

This tournament will be an opportunity for national teams to prepare for the CHAN championship which is expected to be held in Tanzania, Kenya and Uganda in February 2025
