The Tanzania Mainland League Board (TPLB), has expressed its satisfaction with the fierce competition shown by various teams in its ongoing games
Speaking yesterday in the city of Dar es Salaam, the Chief Executive Officer of the Board, Almasi Kasongo, said that for the 10 rounds that the teams have played in the Premier League, there has been intense excitement, with the competition increasing unlike last season
"The league has been very competitive compared to last season, it is in the 10th round, while other teams have played 11 matches, but you can see that all teams have lost at least one game, compared to last season in a period like this. and teams that had not yet lost the game," said Kasongo
He said another reason why this season's league has become more difficult is that some of the match results are decided at the last minute
"Also, you can see how competitive the games were, we have seen many games being decided in the evening, extra minutes, in the very last seconds, this shows great competition," said the Chief Executive Officer
