The Prisons Club has said that the rest of the International Calendar will set up its camp in Dar es Salaam to prepare for the upcoming games of the Tanzania Mainland Premier League, it has been stated.
The Tanzania Mainland Premier League has stopped for international games, with many players participating in their national team squads seeking tickets to play in the African Cup of Nations (AFCON) finals, which will be held next year in Morocco
The Chief Executive of Prisons, John Matei, has said that the team will start its official training tomorrow after the players have finished their six-day break
Matei said after beating KenGold 1-0 last Sunday, they decided to give their players a short break because their next match against JKT Tanzania will be played on November 24, this year
"After finishing the KenGold match, we broke the camp and gave the youth a break of about a week or six days, on November 9 they have to return to the camp to prepare for the next games, our camp if everything goes well, we will hold it in Dar es Salaam , and throughout this FIFA break, we will be in camp," Matei said
Matei said the main reason for camping in Dar es Salaam is to be close to the area where their game against JKT Tanzania will be played
"Our first game after the break is against JKT Tanzania which will be played in Dar es Salaam, and that is the main reason why we will be there closer or the same place where we will play our game on November 24," Matei added
