Manchester United have announced that they have finally parted ways with their manager Erik ten Hag after the 2-1 defeat by West Ham yesterday
Ten Hag departs, leaving the Red Devils to drop to 14th in the Premier League
In an official statement, United confirmed Ten Hag's departure and that Ruud van Nistelrooy will take over on an interim basis with the current coaching team until a permanent successor is appointed
"Erik ten Hag has stepped down as First Team Manager of Manchester United," the club said
Erik was appointed in April 2022 and led the club to a domestic double, winning the Carabao Cup in 2023 and the FA Cup in 2024
